I play lexulous, wordle, connections, word blitz, words with friends, and daily word puzzle every morning. My favourite is Lex.

Never heard of Lexulous. (Almost sounds like a lemon of a Lexus…”Lexu-Louse”. Ha!) I’ll have to check it out. I have played Wordle, though.
Another one I really enjoy is our own Terry O’Dell’s Word of the Day on Facebook. She gives you a word and you have to come up with a definition, but not the correct one. Check it out!

Every once in a while I grab one of those word search books and do that whenever I have a free moment. They also put a bible-based word search sheet inside our bulletin each week at church.

I have 2 — Wordle, my favorite, and WordBrain, both digital. When my newspaper had Cryptograms, they were my favorite.

Speaking of newspapers…you just brought back a sweet memory for me. My mother never, I mean never missed the Sunday crossword in our local paper. She attacked it every week like her life depended on it, and always finished it before church time. And she never let us kiddos touch the comic section until she’d finished her crossword. 🙂

I keep old-fashioned crossword puzzle and word search books on my table where my TBR is next to my chair in the living room. I love a good crossword puzzle. And the idea that it’s good for my brain–which could use the help staying nimble these days. Also I like asking my husband when I don’t know a word. He’s an IT-type guy who doesn’t read so he gets a kick out of coming up with a word when I can’t. It’s the little things!

I like crosswords, too. (And ditto for my upstairs organ!)
My husband is a retired electronics specialist…wouldn’t know a word if it walked up and slapped him across the face. (Unless, of course, it includes diodes and transistors!)
I also love Scrabble, especially with my two daughters. We are very fierce competitors with each other, which makes it doubly fun.

I remember playing Scrabble with my Grandma back in the 1960’s and 70’s. Such a classic game.
Yes, Michelle…classic is a good word for Scrabble.
I grew up playing against my Mom…never won that I can recall. And now, I have to really be on my toes to beat my daughters. Sigh.

Loved word/letter puzzles in my youth. Anacrostics were a favorite.

I recently went to a women’s getaway, and we played Yahtzee! I haven’t played in years. It was so fun.
