Like most Americans, I engaged in an orgy of consumption this weekend. In the semi-comatose state brought on by my turkey binge, I can’t write anything sensible. But here are a few photos I took at the Thanksgiving parade. Have a great holiday, everyone!
How fun! Thanks for sharing your photos. ๐
Wow, real pictures by a real New Yorker from the parade. Thanks so much for sharing!
Great photos, Mark! I highly recommend foks to read Balloons Over Broadway, the story of the puppeteer Anthony Sarg who invented the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons. A children’s book, but fun and informative!
‘I can’t write anything sensible.”
Hi Mark,
So what do you do? Write through it, not write for a few days? What’s your process? Thanks
This weekend, as it turns out, I have to review the copy edit of my next book (which is more or less finished and will be published in July) so instead of writing I’m answering questions from the copy editor and making minor changes to the manuscript. But on Monday I will return to my work-in-progress!
