You’re on death row and your number’s been called up. Time to meet your Maker. But before you go, put in your request for your last meal. What is it?

Me? Send the largest charcuterie board you can muster, and a bottle of red wine.
Oh my, dinner and death. I expect my gut would be twisting in knots while doing flip flops so food better be easy on stomach.
Mac and cheese with peppermint ice cream for dessert.
OTOH, maybe a Mexican feast with enchiladas, chile rellenos, tacos with lots of guacamole, and frozen Margaritas. Under those circumstances, I won’t wake up in the middle of the night with acid reflux.
Hmmm…something loaded with carbs since I can’t have many…HOT BREAD!
A Manhattan to start. If it’s my last meal, it doesn’t have to be coordinated. Edamame to munch on for starters. Black risotto from Croatia, which might give me a slight stay while they had to go get it. Lobster with drawn butter. A tribute to my father, Haagen Dazs coffee ice cream. With chocolate sauce and whipped cream and a Luxardo cherry (since they had to open the jar for my Manhattan, and it would bookend the meal.)
That one’s easy: Chicken Fried Steak with cream gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans (get that broccoli out of here), cornbread with butter and honey, iced tea-unsweet, pecan pie with vanilla ice cream, espresso and a final brandy, VSOP of course. Nothin’ like meeting your Maker on a full stomach 🙂
Tough call to pick, but I’ll go with a Chicken Pad Thai–mild on the spice, a medium spicy yellow curry with pork, string beans, salad rolls. For dessert, sweet rice with fresh mango.
What an interesting question. Hmm… For the entree, I’m honestly torn between pasta alfredo with chicken or having my last Chick-Fil-A meal — including a huge rootbeer.
For dessert there is no question–I want a big bag of Ghiarardeli Dark Chocolate/Sea Salt caramel squares. If it’s my last meal, I don’t have to worry about oxalates and kidney stones. 😎
Ha! Love this question…
Homemade Indian butter chicken over Jasmine rice for me. I’ll have seconds, too, when I get There!
😉😉
